  • Best mixed with TUWA Coratina EVOO in a ratio of 1 part zaatar to 2 parts oil — serve in a wide bowl for dipping with warm bread.
  • The classic Egyptian and Levantine suhoor and breakfast ritual.
  • Also excellent: sprinkled over labneh, hummus, avocado toast, roasted chicken (under the skin before roasting), grilled halloumi, and fried eggs.
  • Mix into olive oil for a salad dressing. Use as a dry rub for lamb. Stir into cream cheese as a spread.
